Feedback Loop

Feedback Loop showcases a new process by which a back catalogue of the artist’s sculptural work is used to train an AI model to generate entirely new sculptures (“Objects”) inspired exclusively by the artist’s own work.
These new sculptures (output in image format) are then passed through ComfyUI, an AI tool that offers granular control over a creative output based on custom ‘workflows’ that enable users to achieve a diverse range of specific end goals, powered by Stable Diffusion and LoRA systems.

This particular ComfyUI workflow has been designed to convert the input imagery (the new “Objects”) into 3D meshes that can be imported into 3D software.
This workflow is capable of conceiving and generating tens of exhibition-ready Objects per minute, vastly extending the iterative and digital production capabilities of a conventional sculptural practice.
